NSW Farmers' Speakers' Bureau
'Telling Agriculture's Story'
About the NSW Farmers Association Speakers' Bureau
'Telling Agriculture's Story' is the passion of the NSW Farmers Association Speakers' Bureau. The Speakers' Bureau team is comprised of farmers who have a passion to tell the story of the States second largest industry.
Each team member has a wealth of personal experience from working on his or her own farm. Agriculture contributes $9 billion to the NSW economy and employs over 104,000 people. Farmers in NSW are the States biggest land users with an estimated 63.6 million hectares or close to 79% of the land mass under agricultural activity.
NSW Farmers Association Speakers' Bureau promotes an understanding of life on the farm and in rural communities and agricultural issues in general. As well, team members help to promote greater cooperation between urban and rural communities by telling their story.
The Speakers' Bureau team members are available to speak on a variety of topics.
